City extend their partnership with Puma to 2034/2035

Wait till the new FAB and Etihad sponsorship deals are announced, the meltdown will be meteoric .... just hope we time it for when the 115 verdict is released.

I was going to ask about them deals mate. Do we have to wait until the second APT ruling on them? Or as it stands, can they just be done as the rules were unlawful?

I'm hoping that this deal doesn't include the Football Experience VR stuff (being ran by and managed by Puma) in the new commercial side of the extension. Perhaps that'll bring in an extra £15mill a year from Puma?

Really? Surprising for an esteemed poster.

Thought it was well known trivia that Puma and Adidas were formed by German brothers.

Adolf (Adi) Dassler used his name to come up with Adidas. Quite clever.

Rudolf Dassler came up with Puma!

Wonder why?

The Puma is a cool logo though.

The name “Puma” was inspired by Rudolf’s nickname, “Rudi,” and his love for the graceful and powerful qualities of the puma, a big cat known for its agility and strength. With this unique combination of his nickname and the characteristics of the puma the Latin word for “panther.” The company was founded by Rudolf Dassler in 1948, who initially named it “Ruda.” However, it later changed to Puma due to the aggressive and agile characteristics associated with the panther.

Thanks for posting the new bitters forum link, really cheered me up reading that.

Do they not understand that our deal will be subjected to the most thorough inspection of any deal? Every tiny detail will be looked at through the most powerful magnifying glass out there.
Astonishing that these lemons still quantify their understanding of modern day sponsorship deals, by the sales of replica shirts!

Moving HQ to Manchester
It's amazing how stupid some of the London-centric press pundits and rival fans are. They just don't understand how modern business operates. Co-op Live has achieved a turn-over of £850m in its first year. (The revamped AO Arena turn-over was £1.3bn in 2024 proving that both venues can flourish). Sheikh Mansour is building thousands more houses. All this is happening because Manchester is rapidly expanding. The Puma move is totally logical. A lot of this would not have happened without Sheikh Mansour's huge investments in our city. City are at the forefront of the regeneration of North West England.

Mmmmmmm.......perhaps I should think about a name change; The Blue Puma.
Any chance of some sponsorship money....anyone? Please? Pretty please??

I see the Guardian have taken it well. Good grief.
Concluding sentence: "Pep Guardiola’s men finished third in the Premier League after winning the title for the previous four seasons. They also suffered a shock FA Cup final defeat against Crystal Palace and crashed out of the recent Club World Cup in the last 16 against Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal."
