I didnt read the whole thread, but where has anyone said "its ok" for them to rob? most are saying massive over reaction, and yes MASSIVE, like our floodlights at maine rd.
Plenty have said it happens, it's life and get over it. A few have said it's ok as they are good lads and great fans. It's all bollocks though and go look yourself.

Ps well done on finally getting a screw, even if you knicked it from B&Q

was a bolt, but didnt want a further ban, needed it for my weight bench, and wasn't paying 4.50.

I'm finding it really confusing and i fear for peoples welfare. :).

I mean, Ticket for Schalke has openly admitted to nickin' a Screw and putting it in his pocket, how the fuck did he manage that? TFS, are you a giant of some kind and does the Screws wife know about this? also, GSTAR' saying that we don't have any Spaniels at Eastlands and Liams on about drinking blood ffs, now throw this lot in with a Sweynky special and holy fuk.... HELP.

I know I said I wouldn't post anymore on this but......

Check my posts. At no point do I say it's ok to steal.

What I object to, and always object to on here, is the wailing and gnashing of teeth when anything is posted which is off the straight and narrow.

We've had people being branded as racists for singing about the size of Ade's knob; people jump down people's throat at the slightest hint of a joke in bad taste; only last week we had the ridiculous views of some regarding an ironic banner and now we have this.

I have always taken a 'laissez faire' atitude to life and it has done me well. It takes allsorts to make the world go round and although I won't condone theft, I won't get on my high horse about some young lads on a beano (pun intended) ballooning and getting in trouble.

Those lads will have to face the consequences of their actions. Not you, or anyone else on this thread who wasn't there. You aren't going to get batton charged at Wigan because of what happened. No-one will think worse of YOU because of what happened. So why can't you just shake your head and move on?

You suggested that the incident and this thread was a reflection of how society had "degenerated". On the contrary, far far worse than this used to happen on a regular basis before and after matches years ago so that argument really doesn't stand up.

Good post.

It isn't the theft itself so much as the effect it has on people who are simply trying to make a living in a small business. People that are probably earning lower than the National Minimum Wage on a 70 hour week.

These kinds of shops are often run by people who spend every minute of their working day trying to earn enough to live on, during unsociable hours that some of us would pale at,and having the thought on a daily basis of someone trying to rob their cash till.

That stinks.

Fookin' hell, can we un-invent the internet?

Godwin's law should be adapted, written into the code of conduct, and used to lock every thread at five pages long while the theme tune to The Magic Roundabout plays in the background.
