It seem sto me there were 32 innocent victims besisdes the shop staff .36 on the coach 4 people charged .32 totally inocent supporters arested or detained for a period of time & released without charge & probably without an apoligy

I believe from what I've heard that what you have assumed is not the case.

And unless the other 32 pointed the finger at the 4, enabling them to be arrested at the bus, then the Police wouldn't really have had a choice except to arrest them all until they could definitively identify those from the evidence they have.

One final thing, if this had been the Moston Rats or MIBs, the majority of those offering support on here would have wanted them banned.

And as one person says, its about knowing right from wrong. Also, one of those charged also was arrested just before kick off, missed the game, was released and then arrested as part of this! But no doubt he was entirely innocent throughout!

lets ban everyone who has commited a crime supporting city.
then the rags will be taking the piss out of out half empty ground,

Well put. Remember these pricks probably dont have jobs and commitments etc. Thats how they function, unfortunately there will be a small breed that follow every club, but as we have a lot of nagative press about us these days, this is just more fuel to the fire, get rid, fuck off, your not wanted. And for those sticking up for you, your even worse.

Not for the first time on here Richard, you're getting a tad carried away. Put the pitchfork down and listen a moment.

Everyone on the coach was arrested, including people asleep on the coach as events unfolded.

Two sides to every story so step away from the Daily Mail and have a sherry.

I wasnt getting carried away until some mindless scrotes thought that the actions of some pricks were a laugh and that it was "ok to steal a few things from a local shop owner and thought that because they knew them that these actions were ok". Tough shit, they are not ok. Picture the scene, a shop gets robbed and the owner notices that the people who had done this ran and got on a coach, he then alerts this to the police. The police then, i pressume boarded the coach and asked who had done it, they were probably met with silence as the pissed up pricks chuckled on the back seats. what other option did they have than to arrest everyone? How people on here think that the actions of these people wew "ok" and just to laugh the issue off are disgusting.

this reminds me of the spanish inquisition, you are guilty by association,by the fact someone thinks you are and if you do happen to be innocent ,.then you are even more guilty. all it needs now is Michael Palin to shout ""Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

Hardly a new thing is it, bit of an over reaction here, funny that they got caught though. Seem some funny things over the years happen at offy's after games dont think this is the place to share them now

Wouldn't the police have to arrest everyone to stop anyone getting off the coach. Until they have identified the culprits they have to contain everyone as, at that point, they don't know if the person getting off is one of the thieves. Once they are happy that the people they are looking for have been apprehended they will de-arrest the innocent travellers. Surely people realise that and understand why it has to be done that way.

Why that is a problem for some people I really cant understand.

I can only go on what i have read on here & out of 36 the Police believed only 4 commited a crime I am not excusing or condoning anything just pointing out that not everyone on that coach did something wrong

I will also be at 99% of the games this year home and away but I will not be robbing anyone. When you have had things that you have worked hard for vandalised, your house burgled and your car broken into I am sure that you wouldn't be quite so quick at defending someone who is robbing a shopkeeper who is just trying to make a living.

And to justify it by saying that you are singing at the match and attending 99% of the games is absolutely disgraceful.

Yes I have seen fighting with other fans, that is a different kettle of fish, totally different. I despair!

I go to a football match to support Manchester City and have a good time.

Slight contradiction in terms there kidder. :)
