City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

Errrmmm.......bit off the wall this but, because he wants to go and watch City when he can?

You obviously didn't manage to read to the end of the short sentence, which is a shame. Here's the bit you missed out -and not list them for resale -

There's obviously a cut off point. Do you get a seasoncard because you want to go to 6 games a year? 10?

Clearly the fans in Germany where clubs use this exact principle seem to manage alright.

Then buy individual tickets. Which there would be enough of, if there weren't loads of season ticket holders who weren't going. There's obviously a cut off point. Do you get a seasoncard because you want to go to 6 games a year? 10?

Clearly the fans in Germany where clubs use this exact principle seem to manage alright.
So you know his financial circumstances and his work schedule then?

So you know his financial circumstances and his work schedule then?

Does his work schedule stop him from listing them for resale on the exchange? Does this hypothetical person only get told his next shift the day before?

7 days for the ticket exchange, yes? How many people don't know their work schedule 1 week before?

Which is how we end up with --empty seats--

Plus if everyone were made to relist their tickets when not attending or lose then there would be a lot more seats available for those games you do want to go.
Noticed you edited out your half full stadium comment.
Maybe you should do the same with the rest of your argument?

This whole argument about empty seats is a strange one for me.
It only seems to be in response to Rags and their sycophant press using the only thing they have to have a go at us.
If the club say it's empty but sold they have had their money and should be happy.
I have noticed near me fans coming on ticket exchange tickets seldom if ever sing so atmosphere wise the seat may as well be empty.
Surely if a fan buys a season ticket it is up to them when and how he uses it.
The obvious answer would be make them so expensive it would not make sense not to use it.
Less people would be able to afford them and thus leaving loads more match day sales tickets.
Not sure many including the club would want to go down that route.
Also I am on holiday as we speak and have left my two cars at home funny there has been no mad clammer for me to let someone else use them.

Whether we have 100 or 10k empty seats the effect on the atmosphere in the Etihad makes no difference. Fans have changed and great atmospheres are largely a thing of the past. Fan demographics show this.
My view is use your season ticket or don't sing or don't.
Leave at half time for all I care.
I will be in my seat singing on my own for all I care.
If you really want to do something about it move to 114 and join 1894 group who I know are not perfect (sorry M18CTID) but moaning on here and debating with blues on another continent does nothing.

I'm going to start an EMPTY SEAT petition.....they should be banned by the Government.

Think of the poor empty cold seat ....no farts nothing....you ****s

I’ve found that when I put up a single ticket it hardly sells.
However if I can put up a pair or more it goes quickly.

Last year I couldn’t make the Liverpool game and put three up. They went within minutes, and next time we went to the ground we got moaned at for selling out tickets to scousers!

Yes possibly but I only have one. It still irks me if I hear people moaning they can't get to see a game and my ticket remains unsold.

Ah yes, the huge effort it takes to put your seat on Ticket Exchange, forgot about that. And you get your money back.

I get that but depending on how much their season ticket is some people don’t worry about getting their money back on it? My point is it’s tough for the club in that situation as it’s entirely up to the person who owns the seat.
