City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

View attachment 133995Dont know how that happened other than bring a FOC. I was replying to someone who had rrplied to you. Anyway I stayed till the end today. ;-)

I can imagine some right Victor Meldrew's quietly seething as some people have the fucking nerve to get out of their paid for seats at 89 minutes past :)

Livid, absolutely livid.

Forget early leavers what about the weirdos who stay on the concourse boozing during the game, especially just after half time. Quite a few missed the Doku screamer and I popped out for a piss a good fifteen minutes into the second half and some fuckers were still standing there boozing and chatting. Crackers.

TBH I left not longer after Fulham scored their 2nd goal. I didn’t want to see Fulham score a 3rd goal. Thankfully that didn’t happen. Apologies to the City players for not applauding them off at full-time.

Just an observation. The 1st bus in the queue of buses outside the South stand was already full. The 2nd bus in the queue was starting to fill up. Thousands of people were outside the ground, with many people, including myself, walking back into town. I got back to Burnage from the Etihad about 6:10pm.

The same people in SS3 missed the wonderful equaliser against Arsenal and the Doku strike today!

The reason it gets under my skin is the queue down the aisle gets in the way of fans who are still watching the game. Hard not to notice.
100% agree with this, so annoying when you’re trying to watch the game people blocking the view at crucial points in the match. The same people who are late fir kick off and again after half time!

This is something that I find so strange, Why bother going to the game if you leave your seat in and around the 35th minute and stay in the concourse until the 55th minute...That's not even including missing the start of the game having a beer in the concourse.

It's bizarre.

I can see how it gets on peoples’ tits when the deserters do that. I’m in the middle of the row so doesn’t affect me but those nearer the end often have their view blocked by the amount of people queuing to get out down the aisle. It’s nearly come to blows a few times over the years.

The ones who leave a row when they’re closer to the aisle the other way n’all, same people have done that on my row every game when the board goes up for 18 years. Quite a few times I’ve told them they’ll have to wait before I let them past because something big was happening on the pitch.

I always love it that extra bit more when we’ve scored and the same people who leave early every week missed it because they’ve left, haha.

Really winds me up. I sit on FF in South Level 3. Turned round at about 89 mins and it was like a ghost town. Like a line of lemmings down to the concourse

I was finishing my pint off. I'm not a quick drinker.

never ever leave my seat with the match on, unless i have no choice
always there in time. never ever leave early.

i learnt my lesson in the simod cup final against chelsea. think it was 4-1 to chelsea and my mates had enough so we left before the end. we missed 4 goals.

if i need a pee, i'll hold it in. needed a pee before kick off today, waited until after full time.

had to take my daughter who was on crutches to the loo and missed a goal a year or 2 back. i let her off as i missed united scoring at wembley in the 13 second fa cup final. we won in the end. people around where we were sat banned us from using the loo again.
