City Fans V Bayern Fans

Agreed.

There are far too many back seat drivers with regards to this issue.

Posters will type all day long, writing essay length views on Atmosphere at City yet won't get off their asses and get involved.

We will be improving the Atmosphere at EDS matches when The EDS move to the new mini-stadium at The Etihad Campus.
Everyone, all ages, all races, genders, whoever you are - All Blues are welcome.

Then we can start to work at ways at these matches to improve the atmosphere, eventually progressing into the main stadium for first team matches.

If you want to see this happen then get involved and help out.

Not in Germany I'm not no. I can't understand our fans moaning about "modern football", we get fair prices and are actively involved. I pay more to see Sheff United than I pay to see Bayern so I can understand English fans being p#ssed off.

That is fucking scandalous.
I could get a flight and match ticket to Germany for a Bundesliga game for less than it would cost me to go to Arsenal or Chelsea away.

Yet idiots keep on paying and going to these ridiculously priced games, moronically holding up banners saying that it's wrong how much they've been charged (thick twats!), so it's never going to change.

Hyde FC home games are £16, that is blue square premier....
When in Munich i got a Baynern ticket for about 15-20 euros. Somethings not right there
People genuinely think City have reasonable ticket prices, it's mentioned on here all the time.

I'm on my last season if it goes up the same percentage as it has over recent seasons, I just can't justify this amount of money for 90minites of mostly predictable football with one team trying to score and the visitors sitting back, wasting time and playing with no ambition.

City are losing core supporters and they don't give a shit. They're just happy to have the money off tourists and the middle class.

My last this too if the prices go up.........Not just priced out but sick of the rip off that is football in this country.

My era has gone. Sad to say.

That's the problem, over here they wouldn't pay those prices. It's a bit much when Bayern v Dortmund is a fair bit cheaper than Sheff United v Hartlepool.

The constant singing and movements are well choreographed and a spectacle for their own sake if you like that sort of thing (if you do then the last night of the proms may be your thing). Constant singing is just that, it is not supporting your team (it is probably more about "look at us") and in my view it is like the soundtrack of the playground- childlike and childish.

Mine too.

Went to Salford v Darlington last Sat,£7 in,food and drink priced right, could drink a pint watching game and all genuine football fans.

Took my 2 kids to Bayern and it was a £100,something is not right.

I recognised Kevin Cummins going into the game today and told him I recalled a saying he had used in a documentary he was in.

Its "Roger the nouveau football fan" which sums it all up to me.

More info please?

I liked St Pauli when I went to Hamburg, if they have links with the German rags, they can fook right off.

St Pauli are twats, tried to attack City in a square before our friendly with Hamburg a few years ago but got a bit of a pasting.

I remember that, I was partaking in the delights of the Reeperbahn at the time so missed it happening, was always under the impression it was Hamburg fans though, it was the night before the match iirc?

St. Pauli had a game against NAC Breda the Friday night it happened, a few of us, Oxblue, Levets? and others were drinking in one of St. Paulis main pubs, they didn't like it too much!

Was definitely St Pauli... friday night... And they got more than they bargained for.. the late 'Crazy Horse' introduced a couple to his Tae Kwondo speciality.... big Frank (Citizen) was also there. He saved me from getting into trouble with the local police :-)
