So Di Maria, Falcao, Van Persie and Rooney on however many thousands of pounds a week has no bearing, it's actually Joe Bloggs head of commercial development and his £100,000 a year salary that puts their expenditure on wages so high!

Maybe every single one of their 659 million fans is on the payroll?

True but one of the comments claims they now have 600 people in that department which may reflect their panic or perhaps the extent of their global presence ?

I'd be interested to know how much of a percentage of their commercial revenue was made up of US-based companies prior to the Glazers taking over - I bet it was only a fucking fraction of what it is now.

500 of those are selling their Official Noodle Partner's products from stalls in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
