Could be that Gill, decided that since the arrests, no point in taking the job, as the chances of dipping his nose in the FIFA money trough have now well and truly ended. Let's face it, he must have been aware how corrupt they were before the arrests.
It will be interesting to watch this corrupt little weasel's moves over the next year or so....That's an extremely good point.
Irrespective of whether he was or was not aware of the corruption he should have taken his seat to fight and change it from within if his motives were honourable.
The decision to not take his seat leaves many questions as to why he wanted it in the first place.
