City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

This should be required reading for the cretins like Karren Brady, who clearly don't have a fucking clue about FFP or our finances.

Our media team should be printing that article as a glossy and sending it to every journalist, blogger and anyone else who's seen fit to spout a load of nonsense about our spending.

I've been saying that this summer will barely hit the bottom line and maybe even improve it so it's nice to see an acknowledged expert confirm that.

The most interesting part for me was how our wages have fallen to below United's. It proves that top players are more willing to play for us, whilst they have to pay over the odds to attract mediocrity :-)

So do I understand the Swiss Rambler correctly that our transfer activity this summer came more or less without increasing cost accounting-wise? And does this mean we have not even started to spend the money from the increased TV deals?
