City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Thats got to be unfair. First of all he breaks FFP rules by investing massively in players and infrastructure then he starts to make profits of that magnitude after a year or two.
In my opinion this stinks of taking a standard business plan from the real world and applying it to football, it should be not allowed otherwise others might try to do the same.
Is that you Gill?
Or Wenger ? It's got to one of them.

That's a pretty minor part of any equation I'm afraid.

Yeah it is but everything is up. Number of games up, attendance up, we can assume that with that all the other match day revenue goes up. Web clicks up, TV games up, image rights up. You name it and we are doing more of it this year.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say this year will be the biggest % jump in our income ever! Before TV money for next year which will then beat the record again.

is that right arsen the lanky frong wenger

I might believe it to be around 400 million if it was to include wages over 5 years, agent fees etc. Can't see us spending 400 mill on fees alone

By the way are people expecting us to be able to spend so much this summer because they're expecting our sponsorship deals to rise a long way or is there more to it than that?

Wouldn't surprise me, we are still in 4 comps and with the extra seats and pep interest our financial performance must be off the charts. That is before we start to build in the new TV money!!! Ffp is in our past!
Can you imagine what it would be if we had a decent kit sponsorship deal ?

440 seems like a revenue number or spend including wages. I know we are catching up the the Rags have no debt and the new TV deal but they have more money and never spent like that
