City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

We need to hire whoever does the selling for Chelsea - they get ridiculous prices for players they don't even want and I'm absolutely, 100% certain all of that is completely and utterly above board. I mean, if I wanted Ramires, I'd definitely offer more than he's worth as my opening offer.

But the thread is still active so whilst Man City are now unlikely to fall foul (again) of its teeth it is important the rules are relaxed to allow our special Italian Clubs to invest again. We cannot allow them to be excluded, just stop new money being invested into undeserving Clubs who have absolutely no right to be upgraded to the top table.

New money should only be allowed into already self sufficient Clubs or ones that will not be black balled by our cartel er I mean UEFAs executive officers.

Exactly what they tried to do to us with FFP. But we managed to get through the gates before they slammed it shut. So then they modified it again to suit the old established elite while grudgingly having to put up with our presence but made sure to exclude any more clubs that were newly invested in. It was a scam and never fair to begin with and only now affects the Leicesters, Evertons of the world. Shower of crooked protectionist bastards.
 
We're not profitable!!! Everyone knows our accounts are bogus and that our match day revenue is only going up because the Sheikh now buys 50000 seats every home game. All our sponsorship deals and partnerships are with Abu Dhabi companies that don't even exist - the Sheikh pays all cash to the club. And the Chinese deal doesn't exist! That Chinese bloke went to OT to have his photo taken with some old giffer with a comb over and a rabbit on his head. The Sheikh pays all the cash and will buy all the players from City and pay their wages to get them to join Chinese clubs.

Yaya, simply in terms of profile, is worth £50m to a league that doesn't have to justify fair value to anyone.

I'd go as far to say if Samir and Demichelis went with him, we could get closer to £100m!

Pep will have plenty of transfer kitty available this summer with the £ 265 mil from the Chinese plus the extra income from the television rights.
