City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Might be concerts, other events or some commercial income. Plus we did the trip to China, which may have brought in revenue. But it's unlikely revenue would be at the same level as it would during an average month during the season.
Wouldn't the extra month be June 2017 though? IIRC we went to the US in July.

If this does come to pass, does it not give the elite (arguably all) players even more bargaining power?

Knowing full well that clubs will only have a £90m transfer deficit to deal with, they purposely run their contracts down; the buying club get a lower or "free" deal and the player can name his price.

Or does the deficit include wages as well?

Nothing's been decided yet, so it's probably open for negotiation.
You think? It's already decided behind closed doors - the only thing that can stop it is the smaller clubs - who will get hammered financially as their business models of "buy cheap sell high" will be totally destroyed. They just gift their players to the elite as their player contracts run out.

I await to see how the elite intend to bounce the smallsr clubs into this. Surely even Turrkeys will be able to see this one coming.

They have voted for Christmas twice so expect a third time. As said by another poster, this is already done and the vote in May is a formality.

The irony of the thick fuckers over on rag cafe. This one particularly made me laugh

'None of this matters much. City's success now is built on building a club whose identity was to copy Barcelona in every way. Once pep gets bored and leaves they don't have a clear direction any longer and they will struggle to make an impact as they have done for years until now. They'll push their wage cap higher and fees bigger'

Replace 'Pep' with 'gpc' and they have perfectly described their own club.
It really doesn't affect us that much - now we're already in the Golden Trough. Especially if we sign 3 or 4 deals now before this is rubber stamped.
