At the time I remember finding the thread and learning so much about FFP.
The knowledge on BM astounds me and all that was predicted on that thread has come to pass well done those who educated us all.

One of the clubs this will disadvantage the most is the rags. They’ve got an aging squad, built for here and now and, with a €90M net spend every season, they will fall further behind. Buy Pogba and every other buy for that season has to be funded by a sale. It looks like City have been preparing for this by stocking up with a young squad who will not need major additions going forward.
The one thing this is designed to stop is the elites in Spain, losing their top players. Neymar going has had quite an effect on Spain and, effectively, PSG’s summer spend of €420M meant they would have to have offloaded €330M worth of players!
City have prepared for what might be a defining point in the history of football transfers, by hugely lowering the age of the squad and tying players into long-term deals. Note that Mr Wenger, as the other club that will struggle, if they carry on as they are, is Arsenal. Losing players for free will not be the way to enhance your squad!
Sanchez may well be a world class player but he will need to be replaced in four years, at a huge cost with little resale value.

It won't matter will it. The voting will be the European Club Association, all 160+ (or whatever of them), of which England has about 9 votes. They can impose it by outvoting a minority.
This comes in if a player wants a move he will be made to run down his contract and then the selling club will be made to sell for a lot less than they would want! Like Kane everyone saying 180m for him that won’t happen now so the player will either to grow some balls and not keep signing new improve contracts or run contract down. This will change nothing much but the bigger clubs keeping there better players just because they’ll be held to ransom on wages for there players just to keep them.

Might be concerts, other events or some commercial income. Plus we did the trip to China, which may have brought in revenue. But it's unlikely revenue would be at the same level as it would during an average month during the season.
Presumably the annualised contracts would be calculated monthly for accounts purposes, rather than one massive spike on a particular day?

Would a transfer costing 100m go down as 100m in the new rules or say 20m over 5yrs the length of a players contract as of ffp1
