City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

So does this mean clubs can literally spend whatever they want regardless of the debt they are in?

Barcelona, Real Madrid, United and Juventus will be thrilled.
Let them do it, the 4 clubs mentioned are all hellbent on reclaiming former glories at any cost, let them get into more debt for me, with no FFP rules in place they will wank themselves stupid spunking money they haven't got.

So no regulation because we happen to be rich at the moment.

Shortsighted enough. Football as an industry needs regulation, badly. Its crooked and corrupt, root and branch. Head to toe.

But that's ok, City have a few Bob
So regulate debt, regulate agents. A salary cap or transfer fee cap will just see money leave the sport. We've already seen that focusing on the P&L doesn't protect clubs from financial difficulty.

I can see you’re in the tiny minority (of one) on this one so it’s probably not worth responding further. No one’s supporting your argument and you’re unlikely to remove yourself from this hill you appear happy to die on. Bark at the moon all you want.

You are wilfully misunderstanding me . I never said no regulation, I said regulate the balance sheet, specifically debt, not the P and L
Read my posts, you are getting your knickers in a twist.

Ha, on what grounds?!
I’m not clued up on ffp or the whole rules and regulations on this, but it’s only hypothetical if they did scrap it would we not be able to say it was a flawed procedure and incompetent in its function in the first place and shown now not fit for purpose, and chase them for fines handed out ..

I wouldn't have thought so.
