City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

If the PL tries this on with them, they should sue them for 3 billion, which is how much the value of City has grown in the last 10 years. :)

That should slow the PL down a little.
Good point since it brings betting odds into play.
By betting a Club will become financially viable and effectively supporting its business plan for the future makes sense of futures buying on the stock exchange does it not? Or perhaps I misunderstand the meaning of only allowing current biased financial opinions to stifle financial growth.

City took the pinch in 2014 and paid a fine, but a fairly clear line was drawn in the sand. City have ignored brainless criticism, insulting journalism amongst other things while we got on with dominating English football but when the criticism involves fines and ban for breaking rules we have already rendered irrelevant the club has fought and won hands down. The evidence is clear that City are taking this latest abomination seriously and are getting legal advice at every stage and that that advice is that the new rules, as put forward so far are unenforceable because falling foul of law on competition and cartels. Those responsible for our club are in control of the situation.
