If that is true, it's such a blatantly ridiculous disparity they'd be destroyed in court if they tried to punish City more harshly. Can they possibly be that stupid at UEFA?

Can it be used in court? Surely UEFA can "settle" what they like, we'd be arguing against FFP itself not against the negotiated punishments?

This is going to get really nasty isn't it?

I imagine the Qatari's negotiation point with UEFA was "reduce the fine and forget the squad limitations or we'll publish a list of all FIFA and UEFA delegates bribed to get us the World Cup."

Sadly, we have no such bargaining chip - unless the Qatari's share info with the UAE. Looks like we've no choice but to take them on.

I expect our punishment to be far less severe than PSGs given our co-operation over FFP, I still think the papers have plucked this '£50 million fine' out of thin air (or one dodgy source).
