We absolutlely have not.

The only thing that will make any difference, is if the 8 homegrown rule still stands. If it doesn't, then we have won by a knockout. The cartel will be fucking gutted by this.

The cartel can appeal this mate.

UEFA fine clubs £50k for vicious racism. They have fined us up to £50m (£16m best case scenario) for differences of opinion over accounting methods. Well and truly shafted!!

Of course we can continue to grow but be in no doubt we have been well and truly mugged off.

Agree with this. City owners need to wise up now - We need the best 'spin doctor' money can buy for a start to compete in the media circus and then sue the sh*t out of our accountants who have presumably been paid millions whilst telling our owners all the time that we were on course to pass FFP when they knew all along that we were skating on very thin ice with some of the creative accounting!! .....
Our accountants do this under accounting standards there will be absolutely no reason or any justification to sue them . It is also in our interests that the punishment look harsh then it's hard to appeal and everyone can be self satisfied whilst we go on business as usual

Right so

Am I right in thinking we haven't been fined at all

- We're to lose out on £20m from the next two seasons CL revenue money
- We can only register 23 Players
- We can only spend £60m (With added sales) over the next transfer window
- We are scheduled to break even next year?.
Anyone?
Yes, but 21 players with unlimited EDS.
Pm me if you've questions mate and I'll do my best, but it's fucking hard to keep up with this thread atm.

Someone will have to explain to me how they can limit how many players we can name without reducing the homegrown demands pro rata.

25/21 = 1.190476190476190476

8/1.190476190476190476 = 6.72 players

I'm very disappointed City have just decided to bend over and take it. I don't think there would have been many fans out there who would have complained had we decided to take the cunts to court. But now the club has validated FFP and pretty much allowed them to continue to take the piss next season as well. Now we can't strengthen our squad to the level we would have liked so risk being in exactly the same situation we were when we last won the title where we didn't strengthen the squad enough and got left behind.
Easy to say fight UEFA. Think of the implications in terms of the clubs image and the players ambitions of playing in Europe.

I agree with both sentiments. It is anti competitive but we have to play against these teams and our stars will want to be part of a team competing in Europe and at home.

Somehow I think all our dealings in transfer market were concluded before this statement was released.

Exactly. Soriano didn't make the statement without knowing what was on its way. The pictures from Abu Dhabi hardly painted a picture of fear either. I reckon DuPonts fighting fund for his FFP court case has a large donation on its way as well!

And explains why Sagna is tipped to arrive: no transfer fee but an improvement to the squad, replacing a player for whom we should get some sort of fee to add to the transfer kitty for strengthening elsewhere.

Seems reasonable.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

2 Things to say:

1) Fine is less than extra Premier League Revenue from previous season due to BT deal
2) Fine is less than extra Champions League TV pool share 40% instead of 30% from previous season

You might as well ask your carpet

In fairness, if it was a choice between you, PB and a carpet my question would be "Could you give me a moment, Mr Axminster? I want to ask PB his valued opinion. I'll get to you shortly and then ask Corky to hoover up"

;-)

Ha ha

That is fucking funny

And I agree !!

Cheers ;-)
