City fined £35,000 for anti-doping admin error

No but by all accounts we`ve now done it on three occasions, hence the charge. We can`t keep dropping bollocks like this and then complain "what about others".We need to get our own house in order.

Again - I agree with you but it would be right & proper to know how often it happens. For all the general public know there might be lots of clubs that have transgressed twice a year for years but they just fall under the radar. Because this is not made public, the charge against City appears isolated & possibly more serious than it is because everyone assumes they're the only club that have ever been so careless. All I ask for is transparency within the FA PL UEFA in all aspects of decision making & disciplinary issues

Not an unreasonable request, but one which I think is highly unlikely. These organisations are not known for such openness in the way they operate.

I think your post is the only time you will see transparency and the FA used in the same sentence! (Well apart from this one!)

In a multi million pound company that slight administrative error has caused ridiculous headlines and probably a fine. The person responsible should now be queuing at the job centre. It's unacceptable and should never happen again. We are our own worst enemy sometimes.

Especially if we are lead to believe that this is now the third occasion this has happened. It shouldn`t just stop with the office junior, but bigger fry within the organisation.

Is it possible that the player or players were the ones who disregarded their appointment ?
Nice and easy to blame admin rather than an individual. May in fact suit City for this to be the case rather than have potential action being taken against an individual player.
