City flags in unusual places.

I saw one flying in rural Minnesota recently. The brand is far reaching now. It is going by to make United jealous.

I recorded a Louis Theroux series a few years ago & one of the episodes was about the seedier side of Hollywood featuring porn stars, producers & avid watchers.

Theroux interviewed a brash Yank dude who owned a big porn film franchise, & he had this big fuck off City flag on a pole in his office! Surreal... \0/
I think that guy was Mad Eyed Screamer.

There was City sticker inside the window of the long disused signal box at Rye station in East Sussex. Not been that way post covid but hope it's still there.

Me and the wife had a trip out to Barrow -in - Furness last Thursday, courtesy of cheap train tickets from Northern Rail.
And on the return journey,as we were leaving Dalton -in - Furness I happened to glance up at the houses above us,and fluttering proudly in the stiff Cumbrian breeze was a sky blue City flag, the latest incarnation with red rose and ship etc.
I commented about it to the wife who said that whoever's flag it was must be a mad keen City fan, as it's a long way from Cumbria to Manchester.
Day out in Barrow on Northern Rail you really know how to treat your Mrs.

In Barrow for less than 2 hours, straight into Wetherspoons( which is about 5 minutes from the station) for a few beers( rose wine for her) a quick bit of scran and then back to the station.
We both enjoy travelling on trains so it's an enjoyable day out for us.
This year we have done -
Liverpool
Sheffield
Bolton (twice - free for me)
Southport
Lancaster
Blackpool

And we have just booked for next month -
Glossop (free for me)
Macclesfield
Buxton (taking our grandson with us)

We have had a 2 together railcard for a couple of years now,so we intend to make full use of it.
