You went to barrow for a day out mate!

I forgot to mention in the previous post that the initial 4 train trips were via a Northern Rail flash sale ,and cost a combined total of £25 for both of us.
And we got the rail travel bug,and just decided to go to a few other places.
As the 70s British Rail slogan used to say -
" Let the train take the strain" !!!

Day out in Barrow on Northern Rail you really know how to treat your Mrs.

Went to Barrow to watch Fleetwood back in the non league days. Asked a copper if he could reccomend a safe place for a drink, his response " in Barrow your f*****g jokeing". Ended up in a squash club by the ground. Fleetwood won 3 2 and we got home in one piece result !
