If city owners are so good (they are by the way) why would you want them to own 10% less of the company and some firm in America acting as a venture capitalist / private equity firm to have it instead (City's owners have vast sums at their disposal so they could fund it themselves if it was priority).

Why would he put his money in when he doesn't need to,he has grown and diversified his business,that's why he is rich and sucessful,he still owns us so what is the problem? you seem to be hinting our owner is getting bored which is not trueWhat rules ? The money went to the overall Group CFG not MCFC. Plus it is going to be used apparently to bolster its “technology and infrastructure assets.”Perhaps you are one that is stupid & well as down right rude !
