City Football Group | Secure $650m loan facility for infrastructure projects (p 54)

It’s simply a $500M investment in CFG, which flows to the owner of the shares currently, which would be Mansour. The bigger thing is that FOR $500M, a serious equity group has accepted “only” a 10% stake, with an expected investment horizon of a decade.THAT values CFG in the stratosphere, and I’m sure it makes the Chinese investors very happy, too!

Billion here, billion there. Soon, you are taking real money!!!

As the rest of football drools at what ADUG has done with City, one can only hope the envy and jealousy associated with a $500M investment and $5B valuation doesn’t force anyone to VAR us even more!!!

They just need to dangle some of that money in the right direction and get people to talk. Halsey alluded to the fact he was asked to change decisions on review, Walton was binned off, Clattenburg went abroad. One day it will all come crashing down around their ears. We know who the powerbases are behind this it is getting the proof.

This should 100% put an end to the bullshit fake sponsorship money stuff. I know Silver Lake. They're a serious operation and wouldn't invest $1m, let alone $500m without knowing the finances inside and out. This won't stop anyone, obviously, but it's true.
And, placing your hand in ADUG’s glove might lead to a very lucrative partnership for them over the longer term. Relationships matter when the money starts in the 9 figures, with an expectation of turning it into 10 figures within a decade!

This is an extremely thoughtful point. Better than flying in the shit nationwide US weather tonight, eh?

Maybe we can get a few of the players to drive Tesla’s now?! Silver Lake is a Musk investor, too!

Quandary.... luxury SUV/Bentley that guzzles ME oil OR plug in Tesla Roadster/S3XY/Truck?!

I’m off all week! Seniority has its privileges! ;-) Worked my arse off early this month to ensure I could get the week off and not lose a wad! Put the Christmas trees up in the front and back yards today, and out shopping in the ridiculous pre-Thanksgiving Christmas sales! Nice turkey dinner with the family on Thursday with the adult kids home for the week, too! Lucky man.

I hope you and yours stay warm, safe and healthy this week and enjoy some good food and conversation. Obviously, Trump will not be on the agenda!!!

Excellent. Well, we are all lucky to see the transformation in this club over the last two decades. It's an extraordinary story really, with plenty of trips and falls (Pearce, ahem) along the way.

You do the same, and no Trump! Me, my wife, my kids (15 and 13), my father-in-law and my sister-in-law. I'm the most conservative of that lot by FAR!

Pouring rain here, planes right over the top of my house joining the ILS on 11 at OAK.

Wife, kids (21 & 23), wife’s brother and sister in law, their kids (13 & 16), Grandma & Grandpa (at their place! Yea!) for Turkey Day. Hilariously, to them (conservative Americans) I’m the socialist atheist that has polluted the minds of their daughter/sister and our kids! My wife and daughter eat vegan, so that gets sideways glances, and we don’t go to church, whereas the bro & sis-in-law go to a mega-church! :-)

Light rain here earlier, too. Foggy now. Temps in 40s. Looks like we will miss the snow, but more rain and some wind before it slams the east coast.

Tbh, I try hard NOT to watch the weather when I’m off work, other than to check the 10 day forecast on the 10pm local news! This week, it’s hard to miss it!!!
