City football shirts everywhere

Just had a week in Alnmouth in Northumberland.
Apart from Newcastle tops, the only other football related clothing I saw were worn, by me and my sister in casual City tops, a bloke and his son in the new top in Alnwick, an old fella in the pub in Alnmouth with a City cap on and, an ex soldier in the Ex Serviceman’s Club in Alnmouth who shouted ‘Come on City’ when I passed as he had a smoke outside.
I drove to Kensington yesterday and stopped off at Oxford Services and saw a young kid in last years top and, as I walked past I shouted ‘come on City’!
It brought a big smile to his face.
We have friends in Bexhill, several years ago, saw 4 or 5 kids playing football in the local park wearing City tops.
There is a fresh fish stall in Eastbourne on the sea front, I called in to buy some shell fish wearing my City cap and, I wasn’t charged as the owner who served me was a City fan.
In St Ives, there was a barber’s shop, painted blue and white as the owner was a blue.
When you drive into Port Isaac in Cornwall, you can see a flag pole in a garden with a City flag on it!!
4 of my ex colleagues, all blues live in Cornwall and fly the City colours, a couple still come up for games. Several also retired to The Lakes.
Whenever I travel at home or abroad, I always wear something City related and, always end up talking with other fellow blues.
In Abersoch last year, I watched a City game in the Veynol pub, it was packed with blues.
Denis Tueart once told a supporters club meeting, just before we moved to The Etihad, that 36% of our then fan base, lived in the South East of the country. Hard to believe I know, but true and, before our successful period.
Many years ago, two of my late Mums brothers moved to Australia, Both Blues.
For years I sent them City programmes, they watched games in their local pub where it is common place for football fans of various clubs to have their own little section covered in flags, posters and scarves etc.
Everywhere I go I see blues.
We’re everywhere.

Loving the “Cmon City” whenever you see someone in a City top, I do exactly the same. Cmon City

My daughter is in Alicante with her friend and her family Happily txt me today to say dad, I’ve seen 3 city shirts today

Currently in Lisbon for a few days and did the Benfica stadium tour earlier. Cracking stadium, by the way.

Groups of kids were knocking around in footy kits and there seemed to be some coaching sessions going on. Obviously wall to wall Benfica kits, only broken up by one girl who had the Oasis shirt with "Doku 11" on the back and one lad with last season's away shirt and Haaland on the back. Brought a smile to an old blue's face.

On holiday in Crete, and a Greek family sat nearby on the beach, boy about 10 in last seasons home shirt with Haaland on the back, his sister (about 5 or 6yo) in a pink City shirt which I assume is a goalkeepers shirt.

In cromer(norfolk) at the moment only city shirts I've seen is mine and the Mrs. Have spoke to a couple of blues though including one in the local pub who put on blue moon and the kev song. Came out of his digs and shown me a couple of his city shirts. Waved to him to appreciate his gesture, top lad thankfully no red scum tops in sight but have unfortunately seen one scouse one so have disinfected my eyes

Been holidaying on the Somme France with 8 mates , all rags .
Went to a bar in Compiègne where a group of young French lads having a beer, a couple with PSG shirts on but one lad had a city shirt on . Struck up a conversation with him but straight away the city bingo started . Tried to explain to him that all rags are scum .

You don't work at North Norfolk Digital by any chance do you, Alan from Cromer?

In tenerife at the moment, all the kids are buying Mbappe and Lamine Yamal shirts, not seen one british club team shirt sold yet !
Just been out and about and seen one english family with 2 boys about 10 years old, one had a madrid shirt on and the other a barcelona shirt on !
On the other hand I met a Leeds fan last night and he said if the Lucy lucky man shows him a rag shirt he's gonna set it on fire. (and then bought a madrid shirt for his son ?). Go figure ??

Currently in Helsinki on a cruise, have seen two people wearing City shirts today. Though I have seen a couple of people wearing rag shirts on the ship, steered well clear of them

Mates and rags together, you need to get better mates
