Back in the day I ran into a group of Japanese kids decked out in city tops holding cameras wondering down Claremont road looking for maine road. Holding a copy of the Kevin Cummins photos. Had to warn them it wasn't the sort of area you shouldn't be flashing the expensive cameras around. Always wondered if they made it out aliveLoads of City shirts at Heaton Park yesterday, even that 4th kit was popular! Of course a lot of Mancs in blue but I was surprised to see as many foreign Oasis fans in City shirts. Nice little earner for the Club. The Gallagher brothers were spreading City globally long before the takeover.
You can buy City tops in Primark now so we have made it.
How on earth did they lose that? They took England apart for 70 mins.In Nerja Spain at the mo seen a couple of City shirts out and about mainly Barca , Inter Miami the Jimmy’s selling them around the beach and bars not seen them selling the new City tops The only rag top was being worn by one of the Jimmy’s The Swedes where all out and about last night in there colours for the women’s match boy did they soon did they soon leave the local bars when they lost like rats off a sinking ship was funny
Only in Oldham eh…Just been chatting with a fella at the bus stop in Grotton, he had last years home shirt on with Haaland 9 on the back, when I ask if he got to any games he said " No I'm not a city fan I support Oldham"
I didn't have the will to ask anymore.
Came back yesterday from a week's cruise with Mrs H (Malta, Italy, Corfu etc, I know, v posh) and sorry to have to report that City shirts were very few and far-between - 1 Italian boy in a Haaland top, (brother Juve), couple of Leeds, Villa, West Ham, few more rags, quite a few Liverpool. Not at all what I expected, having kept an eye on this thread for a while
