City Have F***ED Up Yet Again Haven't They!!!!!!!

It's not about that. Id much rather that it sold out. Im just saying that all seasoncard holders, accesscard etc should have had first refusal today.

Its not fair that some fans will have to watch at home whilst others (who haven't been all season) will be at the game. City should have been prepared.

They could easily have let the tickets go on open sale to one day fans on Monday - If you didn't have a City card of any kind prior to today there is no way you should have been able to buy a ticket today.

You can see why so many people are pissed off? I know that there's going to be loads in the same boat as me. I phoned from 8 this morning and went to the Arndale in my lunch but couldn't wait there forever. Went back at 5 after work and the tickets had been suspended. Joke

No. They just didn't realise that the demand would be this high. It's not theur fault as they've done theur bit by lowering prices. It's because no one turn up to previous rounds that they thought sales wouldn't be that fast even with the lowered prices. Anyway, the numbers of non city fans will be minimal. With all the moaning it's like some would have preferred to pay£25 and sit in a half empty stadium. I'm just buzzing it's sold out!

People can still go Hospitality or wait for Seat Exchange seats as well as getting down to the ticket office at 5am on Monday. ;OP

But something tells me the people moaning wont...

Everyone seems to be saying that none seasoncard tickets have sold out.

Is this assumption or fact? The official statement on the web-site says they have been suspended in the light of exceptional demand, or words to that effect. If they ahd sold out, they would have said?

I find it hard to believe that City have managed to approx 15k tickets in half a day, plus thousands of seasoncard seats.

Correctamundo ! cant wait t see a full stadium again, although I do wonder how many of those who have made excuses about not being able to get to other UEFA games can miraculously get to this one! at the expense of other fans who could be bothered to turn the TV off.

TBH if there's hospitality still available at £30/£35+ vat and didn't have any family to take i'd still go for that, still great value for me. After looking at a few users posts, i can see why they are annoyed, but it isn't as if there aren't any other options if you fall into the category above.

Saying that, if it's true some people's ST seats have been sold, the sh1t will hit the fan with that! As someone else says in another thread, demand hospitality or a box seat as there must be some clause in an agreement document took up with the purchase of a season ticket the club must adhere to.

I tend to agree with this. We've been over 20,000 below capacity for all our other home UEFA Cup games this season and to be honest I've been of the mindset these past 2 or 3 seasons that even if the club were offering tickets for cup games free of charge - even a quarter-final UEFA Cup tie - then we'd still struggle to fill the ground. This hasn't just taken City by surprise today - the response has shocked me and I've been to every home game in the competition this season with the exception of the PSG match when I was watching the Pigeon Detectives in town the same night. (I'd bought the tickets months previously and hadn't considered any possible clashes)

As it happens, despite being on the Automatic Cup Scheme I won't be able to make it as I'm off to Amsterdam for the weekend on the same night so that's at least one ticket going back into the system. I'm having to make do with the away leg instead ;) Gutted to be missing the home leg though, especially as it looks like being a full house, and if the tie is very much still in the balance on the night or better still we've somehow managed to gain an advantage from the first leg then the atmosphere is going to be something else.

Yeah they've all sold out. But non ST holders still get a chance to buy one monday the season ticket seats that haven't been sold.

Its the start of a new dawn!!!!

Get used to it....The masses are returning. But the ones who were loyal will never be forgotton. Just trust the club they are not daft.

I just hope City do not buy the ground. Let the council sweat and build a new one next door with 80,000 Capacity.

The answer is Kids for a quid and adults for a fiver!

Thats da ticket

haha never read so much fucking shite in my life.

We only just managed to sell out the Derby this season.

This is one game at £5 a ticket. I seriously doubt it will be done again. The club are loaded but arnt fucking stupid.
