****EDIT: This thread and Bluemooners have helped to identify that the Book Depository are selling copies of my history of MCFC at a discounted price and with free worldwide postage. I've never used them but some have and say their claim is true. So if you live outside of UK and want to buy "Manchester The City Years" this does seem the cheapest way to do it: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bookdepository.com/Manchester-City-Years-Gary-James/9780955812774" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bookdepository.com/Mancheste ... 0955812774</a> ******
Sorry for the plug but as there have been no reviews in national newspapers (or for that matter it hasn't been reviewed in local papers either), I have to try and spread knowledge of my latest book.
"Manchester The City Years" is now being stocked across the country in many Waterstones branches. This is the only national chain of any type to be stocking the book, so if you live in Edinburgh or London, Bristol or Lisburn and are interested in buying a detailed history of the Blues then pop in to your local store and have a look.
It has taken a lot to persuade Waterstones to stock the book across the UK and their support is very important, so thanks to everyone who has helped to make it happen.
You can actually check whether your local store has the book by entering your postcode here: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/displayStockAvailability.do?sku=9019528&excludeProductfromRC=false" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesw ... omRC=false</a>
Signed copies are available at Waterstones Deansgate and at the National Football Museum. City also have copies at both their Manchester stores.
For more info on the book have a look at: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150796330997816.396386.289818652815&type=3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 815&type=3</a>
Sorry for the plug, but a couple of us have worked hard to get the book stocked across the country and have hit many obstacles along the way. The reason why I wrote the book was to dispel the myth about "No history" and I see getting the book stocked nationwide as another step forward in getting the right messages out about City. Thanks for all who have supported it so far.
