I was looking on the internet to download a map how to get from the town to the ground. My mate was talking to a few gooners who went their. They took a short cut through a park and ended up in hospital. They got proper smashed in so I'm not walking through any dodgy parks !
Oh eck..
If thats the case would it be better to get a Taxi ?
Cheap i would of thought.
Its about 2-3 mile walk so maybe a taxi or just stay in a big group and avoid any parks.

Here is a link to a map of the tram and bus routes for Poznan.

<a class="postlink" href="http://poznan-map.greatpoland.eu/index.php/m/1009/w/2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://poznan-map.greatpoland.eu/index.php/m/1009/w/2</a>

You see the railway lines running top to bottom. The Old Square (Stare Rynek) is to the right of them. Just use the arrows on the right to locate it. The Stadium is down Grunwaldska Street which heads off to the bottom left of the map.
You go down Grunwaldska Street on Tram 6 or 13 until it meets Bulgarska Street. The Stadium is on the right. It's big enough so you shouldn't miss it.
They have tram tickets at all the kiosks ( about 50p per ticket).

Cheers. Looks fairly straight forward . Tram 13 looks best bet.
However i am still more inclined to get a Joe Baxi

same, our hotels in the old town.

Looking at google maps. so many railway tracks, anyone know exactly which one is the train station???

If you look on the google map

<a class="postlink" href="http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=poznan&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=p ... a=N&tab=wl</a>

the main railway station ( Dworzec Poznan Glowny) is shown at the junction of Glogowska Street and Most Dworcowy (Station Bridge).
You have to keep on zooming in till you fix onto the railway tracks.

Or put 'Dworzec Poznan Glowny' into the map search on Google maps.
