City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

In theory

What if there's companies sponsored the Sheik himself. Like sponsored his Car or his house etc

And then he gave city one of these interest free loans with that money. Would that have got around it?

Or am I talking bollocks

FFP is about spending less (or not much more) than you earn, not loans/equity. So yes, you are talking bollocks :)

But don't worry, I do it all the time :D

Cresta, the Corona pop lorry, Fatty Arbuckle, this thread's like being in a bleedin TARDIS.

You're not wrong though. Irrespective of whatever else rival fans do or don't think, if they have half a brain cell they can see very clearly the PL has been acting in bad faith. We knew that all along but this makes it very clear.
The sad thing is, the fans from the "istree" clubs don't care. They want things back to how they used to be. Football was never meant to be like this. It's not why they take out their annual Sky Sports subscription. They can't separate their emotional tribalism from commonsense & fairness.

On another note, bring back the Maccy Stout lorry too! :-)

It's self-evident that the cartel running the PL want their protection racket rules to stay in place, question is how long they'll stick around when its gone?
So, we now know that certain clubs have had a meeting outside of, and prior to, the official PL one.

Nothing other than confirming that they have become collaborators in a cartel.
