City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

It wouldn't be a slanging match if a club wrote to the Premier League stating that, in their opinion and after consulting their legal experts, no decisions should be taken until the full judgement is released by the tribunal. They could send that letter to the media.
That's not twitter or any other social media shite.
We have no idea if any other clubs have or have not sent letters, releasing them to the media is another thing entirely. We've had to go public, there is no need for anyone else to do so.

That article is quite something when you read it. Basically arguing that unlawful rules are actually justified if they hinder a team you dislike.
I still cannot bring myself to believe that EVERY media person out there believes what they write. And I certainly don't believe many, if any, actually HATE City.

If you remove the last two words in your sentence above and replace with"...that gets clicks and makes money", I could believe it.

Unless I'm living in a blinkered, Utopian bubble.

The clickbait media wouldn't even mention it

I am in agreement with all you have said.
As have just replied to another poster. Clubs who support our view, (nothing should be done until the independent panel give the final verdict) should write to the PL stating this.
Instead, they seem happy for us to take all the bad press and make it look like we are fighting alone.
To do nothing is a cowardly shit house trick.

They just need to vote against the new rules if they aren't sure of their legality. This is City vs the PL. No need for the other clubs to do anything.

It will be interesting to see how the illegality of APT/RPT is parsed, because it’s the crux of the argument.

PL says the “illegal” call is narrow and easily fixed, whereas City believe it makes the entire house of cards collapse, because it’s all fruit of a poisonous tree, and thus should be scrapped and rebuilt for purpose.

Regardless, it doesn’t make sense for any oversight body to issue new rules on the “illegal” area(s) without a full and complete understanding of what that word means and how broadly the interpretation is understood.

That's an interesting view.
Why is it City v the PL ?
Even us, the fans know we have at least 5 or 6 clubs who will vote in our favour, I want them to back us now, explaining why it is in the best interests of the Premier League to sort the matter out so that the rules are legally binding.

That would be the ideal scenario but the resistance is always going to come from the PL and the cabal members to try and secure the most favourable outcomes for their US paymasters and other beneficiaries such as Bloom at Brighton for instance.
