I'm interested by Stefan's tweet to the effect that Everton and Wolves will support PL "revised" regulations because their financial interests dictate that they do not want any interest to(fair value or not) applying to loans they have from their owners. Maybe, almost certainly probably - but does this not raise questions for Spurs? They covered the cost of their magnificent new stadium through loans raised at market value, did they not? Are we sure they wish to spare clubs, among which are numbered their bitterest rivals Arsenal, any interest payments at all on loans from their owners? And the rags, who I believe have only raised one loan (at 8% pa) and only pay out to their owners, are really prepared to vote to make sure their bitterest rivals (! _Liverpool!!!) do not have to pay any interest at all on their considerable sweetheart loans along with other top half rivals! Maybe voting is more complicated than we think.

I’d suggest that there’s a lot of lobbying in the PL, as we seen with the GPC and PL managers, and that those 2 clubs will be given the nod that they are within the fight for retaining PL status, even though they’re doing shit.

Maybe ‘tinfoil’ but nothing the PL does surprise me.
