City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Surely the shareholder loan issue has to be back dated otherwise any club punished in that period can say what about x y or z club when you illegally applied the rules and did not apply shareholder loans to me you either back dated the application or go back void / undo any fines etc which is a lot more messy

Logically absolutely right, but the parties who are most likely to be impacted by backdating are the ones who will be pushing the PL to keep their suggested Amendments in place.

It is clearly going to take somebody , maybe the courts, to instruct them to implement those rules for this farce to end.

Vested interests are at play and nobody wants to put themselves in a worse position, especially the cartel bullies.

But there are others Brighton being one, who will be affected if interest free loans have to be factored into their PSR figures.

PL fuckup of the highest order
