City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

That idiot (was it Delaney?) who said they can just fall back to the rules before the amendment didn't understand that the original APT and the amended APT rules were specifically ruled to violate UK Competition Law? Or was he just hoping no one would realize? It's the same nonsense over the last few weeks of speculating that City had lost because the rules were still on the website, and of course they would have changed them if they needed to. Complete lack of understanding that they aren't allowed to 'just change them'.

This seems to mean that there are no rules in place currently at all? What a mess.
The **** is completely clueless. He is a complete fucking charlatan.

So where's Spurs and Levy in all this, being Spursy?
Word is Levy was chomping at the bit to be a witness. Had cast iron information that would blow City out of the water.
Unfortunately, upon getting up from his seating position, on his way to the witness stand, he tripped over a table leg, head butted the stenographer, collapsed to the floor and shit himself.
The judge ordered an immediate recess of 15 minutes while everyone took in the scene.
Daniel was eventually rushed to the nearest toilet to wash his underpants out.
He was later seen leaving the building, sans trousers, saying "I hate this fucking club" witnesses were unable to determine if he meant City or spurs.
The process continued without him.

Well, well, well.

Firstly, the stones on City for taking this fight on when already in the midst of the other fight, is hugely commendable and shows the level of intelligence and competence at the club.

Second- we talk on here of conspiracies and “the cartel”. Well, today is all the proof we need we’ve been right for the last decade and more.

Third, yet another example of the PL making rules up as it goes along, at the behest of a a few select favourites. Even when those rules are unfair and unlawful.

Fourth - the biggest example of “acting in bad faith” you’ll ever see. Yet these cunts have the gall to charge us with “not acting in good faith”? You couldn’t make this up.

Fifth - blind eye to the shareholder loans that a lot of these cunts are being held up by. The likes of Arsenal and Everton will be fucking shitting themselves re PSR now.

Sixth - Panja, Zeigler, Lawton and Keegan shown up as the KFAs they are and none should ever be named as “sources” on here ever again.

This is a seismic day. City have taken the cheating fuckers on and showed them up for what they are. Heroic.

What a day to be a blue.
but the chorus you hear from all cunts singing “ minor , small, little victory.. hahahah it’s boiling time Again

I know it has been posted in the thread, but I just wanted to give it another direct link to the article (rather than the archive link) so that clicks and engagement could be driven to Samuel’s excellent content for those with access.

These outlets only really care about what content drives the most ad revenue and so we should be very selective about which links we share. But I think, even if it gives The Times some revenue they could use to beat City with later, this is content that should be supported and amplified by blues.

Seismic verdict for football that leaves financial rules in tatters

The Premier League overplayed its hand and now the whole concept of PSR is in the bin. Man City’s legal victory could have huge consequences for some clubs
