If clubs are run on pure business terms then the profits go to the shareholders and out of the game.

The Sugar Daddy model is the one that encourages growth for the game as a whole.

Many Footy Economists have pointed this out. There is no excuse for rival fans to spout the rubbish they do about City (and believe it)

Footy is not like other businesses. If they go bankrupt they start again with their loyal fan base following them. Any other business goes bust they’ve had it.
