I cannot believe some of the comments. "Should" be going to Wembley?? Why so? Villa are a Premier League side that beat you 3 weeks ago and Reading are a tough outfit that have just won at Goodison. City have not won a thing in decades but now you "should" beat everyone that comes your way. Sounds a bit presumptuous to me.
We will be favourites because we are better than Villa full stop. But anything can happen on the night as Reading just proved.

Don't tell me Villa fans aren't elated at Everton's defeat. They fight like dogs and the Q/F was scheduled just ater we are due to play away in Ukraine so if we beat you a lot of us were thinking we'd go out against Everton. Now it looks like we can get as far as the semis.

I know you want to paint us as arrogant. It's just excitement. City fans have had too many disappointments over the years to expect anything

Trains are expensive that weekend, think the semi will be sat or sun, thre're a bit cheaper sunday ;)

Beating blackburn at home makes you barcelona does it???? one result doesn't make you a great side, so back in your box. nobody has said we WILL get through, just that we would be pissed off not to get through, taking 2 home ties into account. as im sure the villa fans would be if you were playing us at your place, followed by reading.

Who mentioned Blackburn? I know that I didn't. My point was that is such an air of inevitability about City winning (according to most posts on this site since the draw) and if you don't it will be "typical City" with no regard to a decent Prem side like us actually, possibly playing well and deserving to win. We are not "Barcelona" far from it but then neither are City. How many games did it take to beat Notts County and Leicester?

EDIT; And btw, LOADS of people have said that City WILL win on here. Loads. And to tbh I think you will too, just the arragonce of some is mind boggling since the Sheikh arrived.

im sure you would be looking through city forums if blackburn had stuffed you at weekend? Typical city relates to the chance we have of getting through, not loosing to a better side on the night. its not arrogance, its called having a bit of confidence for a change, due to the quality of the squad, and the money spent and why not?. the jealousy / bitterness from fans like villa and everton is unbelievable really.

'kinell mate get off your "City are ruining football" high horse....we have a great recent record against you and deserve to go into the game feeling confident. The FACT is that should we win tomorrow (and I don't think anyone here expects anything other than a tough game),we'll then have a game against Reading at home and our best chance since 81 of getting to the semis.....but it's the cup,and anything can happen. We of all people know that.

That's not in any way "arrogant"- it's just the way it is.

To the Vile fan.

3rd at home to 12th.
50 points compared to 33.
GD better by 27.

Why shouldn't we expect a win? Im extremely nervous as we always mess it up but we should be winning this game.

Everton 0-1 Reading

Could this be a rather interesting week in the FA Cup I wonder?"

Is that anything different to what were doing?

i said utd in the semi's and its looking that way,all we need to do is take care of our own business

If we make it to the semi only one challenge would remain. We must confront United. Then and only then, cup winners will we be.

Nobody was being arrogant. Just another typical anti-City rant. The jealous is ridiculous. We've won fuck all for 35 years, there is nothing arrogant about us. I hope Barry scores now.
