I think you can find that Sheikh Mansour sometimes have mentioned other stakeholders while ownership of the club is his.
These stakeholders are generally those with an interest in the club like fans or sponsors.
Take Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the chairman of ETIHAD, deffo a stakeholder in my book, and a member of the Royal family at large as are the chairmen of other sponsors from Abu Dhabi we got.
If we get political, In Abu Dhabi there are no single rulers, no tyrants per se..they are big on consensus, and on "majlis" which is the main form of contact between the guys at the top and the poor, erm..the $15m per capita citizens of Abu Dhabi.
Basically Majlis means that if you don´t do a proper job as a ruler or whatever, director of roadrepairs perhaps people will be sitting in your courtyard complaining every week..it´s astonishingly efficient as the lazy sod will have to listen to the same complaints every week.
Mind you..if you are not Emirati you are nobody really. There was a post about the UAE-foreign legion or what they call it.
But in truth the whole UAE is mercenary, there are mercenary cops from Oman, mercenary bank-clerks from India, half their military is from other countries really etc etc.
It´s a fascinating Emirate that I´m always willing to discuss but this thread have run its course I fear.
