City player's performances at Euro 2020

Pogba is being Pogba, flashes of brilliance but ambles around the pitch in a dazed slumber.

He really is a waster, a shame because there is some player in there somewhere!
If only the Scum could buy someone to release him.

Hopefully they all play crap, get rested but keep fit by being in a squad. Nice 2/3 week holiday when they get knocked out of the competition. Return rested but reasonably fit.

Our boys have disappointed overall.

Walker - played like he was on the piss the night before first game, with some incredibly erratic passing didn't play second game likely as a result of that.

Stones- good. Not been tested much in truth but not put a foot wrong so far.

Foden - shown flashes but not been given the ball enough and is first off due to seniority in the squad rather than performance, played in a position that was always likely to see him hamstrung.

Sterling - some good movement, scored but has sadly had just as many sterling moments as good, can't control the ball, woeful decision making and finishing. Typical sterling of the last 18 months really.

Dias - poor. Seems to be an eagerness to blame the rest of the Portugal defence which has credence but he has to take responsibility as well, he's been way off. Channeled his inner Dunne too.

Bernardo - felt he's looked threatening when he's played, the most threatening of the Portuguese players anyway but has been first subbed in both games, one at half time so you can't say he's been good.

Zinchenko - done alright. Hasn't stood out for the Ukraine so far despite being one of their better players on paper, needs to do more but hasn't been bad. gets a pass

Ake - behind Blind in the pecking order, came on in both games, not done anything wrong and got an assist but hasn't been involved enough to get anything more than an average.

Laporte - can't dictate play anywhere near as much from the right, bizarre to have him that side when pau torres doesn't offer what laporte does on the ball. That's not his fault though. Had little to do defensively with Spains possession and dominance but got bullied by lewandowski which cost them the win.

Rodri - the epitome of the Spanish performance this tournament, sideways and backwards safety first approach, gave the ball away needlessly numerous times. Convinced he's tucked his shirt into his tit high shorts in an effort to make himself more mobile.

Torres - the Invisible man. started one game and the other he was on the bench, hard to tell you which was the game he started as there was no difference in his performance and impact in both games. Anonymous.

Gundogan - hit and miss. Had some moments of pure class but he's in a midfield 2 with kroos who does very much the same thing as him, when it works it works magnificently, when it doesn't they both look badly exposed.

Kdb - only played 45 minutes but turned the game on its head single handedly with a virtuoso performance despite still being injured. Best of the bunch by a mile.

Guardiola is keeping the City ship afloat, masking Txiki's performance as DoF. (though he also deserves credit for bringing him but he has not bought well at all).

De Bruyne is City's only standout player, that is reflected in the Euros too.

City have got too many supporting cast players and not enough genuine world class quality.

How the fuck we won the PL by a country mile I'll never know!!!

It’s a good question. The city players look tired. It’s been a long season working with Pep. You could argue that this season started with the Lyon defeat and it’s still going now with the euros. I hope most most of them get sent home early. No pre season, a game every 3 days trying to win multiple cups in a long exhausting Covid hit season.

I won’t judge any of them on this tournament…well maybe Sterling ;)
will teams have a pre-season this year, after the euros and south American tournament there are only 4 weeks b4 the start of the season, and I'm sure players have to have 10 days off
