Fowler without Anelka was a good player. He brought others in to the game once he'd lost some pace. I recall an excellent performance against Crystal Palace at home.

The Robbie Fowler house song has a place in my heart. Good humour.

Apart from Aguero and KdB, I can't think of a player who doesn't divide opinion.

I can list so many shit players that I cant imagine anyone would think were good, but I dont want to give anyone flashbacks.

I don't know who else fell on my side but I never rated Stephen Ireland, at all!

I thought he was well average and a fucking lazy **** defensively letting players run freely from midfield into our box on numerous occasions which lead to a few goals (namely that Scholes' last minute header to win the game and the late equaliser for Burnley in that 3-3 game).

I know a lot thought he was great but I certainly didn't.

Ian Brightwell always divided opinion. I thought he was good. Mates thought he was crap.

I'm exactly the same. See players getting absolutely lauded on here who I think are good, but that's all. There are others who get slaughtered but I think are good. Football eh!
