Flood is a good call, I thought he was a good up and coming player as well. He did transfer to Celtic in the January transfer window.

I thought Samaras would come good eventually, eventually gave up and realized he was shit.

Belmadi - Played awesome with Anelka against Fulham then got dropped for an unfit Fowler against West Brom and we lost 2-1.

Jensen - He was a very good player who randomly left in 2003 and went to Dortmund I think, never understood why Keegan let him go and replaced him with Tarnat who only lasted a year. Key reason why we were shit the next year that, signing too many players the wrong side of 30 and relying on them rediscovering form they showed years back.

Bosvelt - Top class player, shame we got him a few years too late.

Mpenza - Definately needs a mention. Scored some vital goals for us and last year, was poorly treated and didn't play because if he did he'd be given a new contract. After he was dropped, we went worse and became reliant on Benjani...arrggh!

Danny Allsopp - thought he was crap actually, but I went to see Melbourne Victory play Gamba Osaka in Oz lat year and he looked like Pele compared to the rest of the team. Good game - 7 goals 1st in the first 3 mins ,last in the last min. Good value for money, but nobody could defend fuck all - no wonder the scum won the "world" cup against Osaka

awful finisher though! look at all of his goals he scored when he was 1 on 1 with the keeper and watch him just smash the ball as hard as he could at the keeper! it was just the keeper moved ou of the way sometimes!

hes had a good career ... sheff u where he proved he was prem quality, then fulham and i think next he went where he is now wigan ... shouldn't have left us when he did, fell out with royle though.
