Gillingham did win the play offs a year later beating Wigan but im sure it was Andy Hessenthailer as player manager i might be wrong, i thought Paul Scally sacked Pulis after the 99 game<br /><br />-- Fri Apr 20, 2012 9:21 am --<br /><br />just checked Pulis was sacked after we beat them he then went to join Bristol City for the start of the 1999/2000 season ironically think we played Bristol City in a friendly at Ashton Gate that summer as part of the Shaun Goater deal

First time I've seen the save even though I was at the game. I turned my back thinking he ain't going to save it, next thing I Knew I was on my arse falling down the kippax as the place went mental.

As for the 39K versus sunderland I think Mr swales was having a laugh even after we knocked down the segregation barrier and stood in no mans land there was still no room to move.
