City removing seats

That annoying dog trotting round the electronic advertising boards is all part of the 'match day experience', pal. Distracted from watching the game by a fuckin' beagle whilst chomping on a shite £4.50 pie!
Presumably the digital dog was deliberately trying to distract you from the fact that you were eating a dead one in the pie.

Are these the seats that they have to chuck an embarrassing black canvas sack over for CL games in order to be complaints with Uefa rules? Makes sense to me that you'd get some advertising revenue instead, but I do feel for anyone who feels they're being shafted.

Covering up front rows for European games was in operation long before these new ones were installed and will be happening when they are gone. Happens at most/all stadia so what's embarrassing about it?

As I said before, I always thought it was because UEFA specified bigger advertising displays and therefore these seats would lose their sightlines. If our new signage meets UEFA's standard,, then with these 1000+ seats being taken out, you'd hope the restricitions wouldn't apply in future. We'll see.

Front rows were covered before the new ones were installed so I'm not sure what will be different. As you say, let's see but the whole concept of kicking out SC holders to put in additional pitchside advertising stinks. I'm not affected but it has really angered me.

The increase in capital value of the main asset.

Which he’s already done as shown by the purchases by the Chinese and Silverlake.

Most investors expect an actual income not just capital growth his income return on City relative to the money invested is peanuts our profit relative to our income is peanuts I could earn him more a year by investing the same money in a safe ish utility company or perhaps even a bond

Also I don’t think he is earning anything from the other clubs yet

Even before the pandemic we barely made a profit and people on here are talking of spending 100 million replacing Aguero and not mention the constant calls the replace Mahrez Rodri Stones Zinchenko Mendy etc

You don’t understand how amortisation works either, do you.
