Just seen this item on Europsort's website: https://www.eurosport.co.uk/footbal...arcelona-in-u.s.-tebas_sto6922093/story.shtml

There's been plenty of talk about La Liga's plan to play league fixtures in the USA and Girona's home game against Barcelona is one that's been mooted. Now our friend Mr Tebas at La Liga is specifically saying that the CFG has asked for their fixture to be the one that's switched: "Girona are partly owned by City and together with (Miami Dolphins owner) Stephen Ross, they told us Girona were interested in playing this game."

Just thought it worth noting because if they think this is OK for Girona, who's to say that our owners and executives might not regard something similar as an option for MCFC as soon as they think they can get away with it.

I read that 1500 Girona season ticket holders have been offered free flights if they'd like to attend it.

If Etihad wanna put on a free flight for every City ST holder to go to our home game with Fulham in L.A then by all means bring it on.

How about our ST holders pay for our own holidays and we don't jepoardise winnable home points in what is likely to be an extremely tight title race this season.

It smacks of the type of thing that CFG would push for, tbh. Disappointing if true though. It's an awful idea.
