City strikers or Bayern strikers ?

I much prefer our strikers but their team as a whole is better then ours.

Most of us agrees with you, but why do they have a better team ?

Or lets say why do they have "almost" the best team in the World ?

City have the more talented strikers, however Bayern have two strikers who don't need that many shots to score goals (Gomez and Mandzukic). They are among the least wasteful in all of Europe.

Perhaps some of this comes down to how clear cut the chances are though, we're not great at creating *truly* clear cut chances, whereas the likes of Gomez and Mandzukic are often put one on one against a keeper by Bayern's creative department.

That I just don’t know but maybe because they have some powerful midfield and the rip team apart for fun. We have a great midfield but don’t perform anything like the Germans

Bayern plays different style of football and they can throw pretty much any decent Striker in their team and he will click right away.
Their midfield is way superior than ours and they attack you from all sides.
We only have one set of plan and that is thru the middle for most of the time.

If you look at Dortmund or Bayern strikers, City had much better strikers than them but somehow they are playing better.

Our striker force is hands down better. The only one true weakness to there squad if they really have one is there strikers. but everything behind them is world class (in every possession) they have the ability to play counter, possession, wing play. with just there starting 11.

Aguero not being fit all year hasn't helped. Our strikers managed alright in our system last season. What has changed?

City don't have better players than Bayern. Bayerns midfield is far superior.

Who has the best set of strikers, City or Bayern ?

My point from this thread is that there are more important positions to be improved before thinking to splash +50million on another striker.

City, but Bayern's strikers suit their team.

Gomez wouldn't work at City, but Dzeko would be Bayern's top scorer
