Mate, I remember there being a group of City NF hanging around outside The North Stand in the 80s but I'm not going to apologise for them, they were absolutely fuck all to do with me.

But yes, we're on the same page with UEFA, fuck them and fuck their "anthem".

I was a little un back then but didn't they get 'escorted' back to the train station pretty sharpish?

What are the words to this anthem anyway? To my untrained ears, it sounds like the chorus is extolling the virtue of 'lasagne' which I happen to find rather tasty?

I was only young myself mate, it was one of my earliest memories of being at Maine Rd as a kid, my dad calling them all dick heads and having to explain to me why.

You'd have to ask one of the older blues for the full story. But from memory I think there was a group of them trying to recruit outside the ground for a few weeks but they ended up getting fucked off.
