City to play in Dortmund

train travel is included in the price of match ticket.but im not sure how far from the ground this extends.

Has anyone managed to establish whether we can use match tickets as travel from Dusseldorf?

yeah, its included. You can use every train, tram... from the VRR (no use for IC and ICE trains)

what about back on the thursday?

It´s usually valid only on matchday till next morning 2 or 3 o clock am.

Just booked our hotel were staying at the Steigenberger Dortmund hotel facing the stadium, only £20 person, 4 star hotel and its only 2.5km from the town centre! I looked everywhere for a cheap and cheerful deal and it spat this out, a bargain! Get on it blues!

I used my match ticket on the trains on the Tuesday and Saturday. The inspector actually took it off me and inspected it. The Schalke match was on the Thursday!

Got no problem with doing that, but it`d be better to sit with blues..Also we need to start organising ourselves for a meet in Dortmund pre game (we`re on the train in from Dusseldorf) anyone know Dortmund at all on here who could give us a point to a cosy little square we can make our own.
BTW I know Droylsden very well, family still live around there, pop in the Pig on`t wall now and then.
