City Treble documentary | Club sell rights to Netflix for seven figure sum | To be aired in April (p5)

Just finished episode 1.

Views so far

St James’ Park changing rooms are shit

The interviews with players are pretty pointless, cliche ridden player speak

There was a lot more buzz about the club last season, with Haaland arriving etc. louder cheers when we scored at home it even seems!!

Liked where Pep showed the team a video of the Villa game before first home game of the season

The sun will come out soon, don’t worry!

Felt like a YouTube documentary to me, some great moments obviously but the majority seemed aimed at kids.

We forget that we are immersed in these videos almost daily on City TV. This is giving many more people a peek inside, and much of the footage and many of the quotes were new to everyone.

Greatly enjoyed it over two sittings and the player quotes over some of the CL win celebrations were brilliant.

Will never tire of the fly on the wall stuff. As an FOC now, I miss those days of yore.

Just got the last episode to watch; I'll probably watch it when I get up in the morning. I hope it's got a happy ending....

Like your style Jim thought I doubt your average Blue Mooner will get a Casablanca reference.

All six episodes available to download from the usual torrent sauces.

Watched it, enjoyable but not what I was expecting. Very 'soft'. Like watching Ted Lasso but without the twists. Ok, they were here, but they didn't really hit that hard. Maybe because I knew it turned out ok in the end, but I was expecting more on why cancelo left, or even mentioning it at all after introducing him earlier on, and mentioning the charges once just gave no perspective or context, so I imagine anyone who doesn't follow football will have a hard time following - the missus was interested to watch it with me but I snook off and watched it alone, and I know now she'd not follow and soon be tapping away on her phone, disinterested because it didn't have that draw.

Some enjoyable moments too though, but I'm not sure how many non city fans will enjoy it. Not because it's city, but because it doesn't really say or do anything to pull them in. It was more akin to watching one of the old city season review DVDs.
