City Treble documentary | Club sell rights to Netflix for seven figure sum | To be aired in April (p5)

I’ve watched the first 5 episodes now and really enjoyed it. But one thing strikes me - I’m glad I’ve got the subtitles on because I can barely understand a word Pep says, especially when he’s doing his intense half time talk, speaking really quickly. I’m thinking to myself, surely some of these players can’t be following this, especially those where English is not their first language? And yet they all sit their hanging on every word.

It’s like when you’re in a meeting at work but haven’t got a fuckin’ clue what’s being discussed but you still sit there nodding along anyway so your colleagues don’t think you’re thick.

I’m convinced nobody has a fucking clue what he’s on about but none of them want to be the one to stick their hand up and ask so they all just nod along.

Thought this morning would be a great time to watch the last episode and it didn't disappoint. So emotional watching that and we really are so lucky to have experienced not only last season, but everything in the years that lead up to the treble.

Some things really struck me in that last episode, none more than how much pressure was on the club to win that final in Istanbul. Pep and the players almost drowned in the expectation and pressure and you could see in the build up and half time that they struggled with it.

What i would say is winning it once will make it a lot easier to win it again. We've done it, the pressure is off and next time we make it to a final like that we should be so much better for it and relaxed.

Loved Walkers speech before the final, very emotional and that last episode really showed why we are such a great side. We aren't just a collection of players, we recruit certain types of players who all fit in with what pep wants from a person as well as a player. Leaders throughout, great personalities and as important as anything mates.

Gutted i have finished it now, but a brilliant re live of an epic period. That week in June will never be repeated.

It never ceases to amaze me how Guardiola manages to translate complex tactics and motivate a group of elite professionals by seemingly just furiously playing with fridge magnets and loudly grunting completely incomprehensible gibberish.
Haha! I agree, but I think it’s because they already know 80% of it and are just getting the other 20% that he’s tweaking.

I’m just wondering when he’s going to get that perpetual cough/cold taken care of and why no-one has told him to stop collecting his white spittle on the tip of his tongue and showing the world how thirsty he is!!!

That boy is neurodiverse!

Watched the first 4 - don’t know what I was expecting but just feels the same as watching an inside City video or an end of season review from the website. Not sure what if anything Netflix have added to this other than putting their name on it and giving us a load of cash for the privilege.

Obviously the best is still to come in the final 2 episodes but so far it’s decent but not spectacular in my opinion.

Love the insight of Pep getting pissed off at HT/FT when we were under performing. The doc also rams home how much we miss Gundo and Mahrez for their goals and creativity this season.
Netflix haven't added anything
They just purchased it to show on their platform. CTID

#Together is there to see throughout the season.
Kyle getting dropped for the final and rallies the troops like he did.
Pep getting the cook up and praising the staff.
SERGIO and FERNANDINHO supporting the boys.
By the end I was a emotional reck.
IT'S GREAT BEING A BLUE
