The women were really close as well. A clean sweep would’ve been crazy. Nonetheless, they’ve all done well. Doyle, Larios and Borges were the standout players today.

Probably a good thing the women didn't win it as you know the media would have accused us of ruining football.

Can't believe Burnley are twatish even at the academy level.

Not only do they get great results, but they truly mirror the first team in terms of the way they are playing. Left side in particular was really good, Doyle, Larios, Hamilton and Borges.

A quite young side too, with the majority being 17. Borges turned 17 not that long ago, and he managed to pick up 12 goals and 20 assists in 21 apps. Plenty of very talented players in the academy at the moment, would be nice if a couple of them made it to the first team
