Disappointing to lose again.
Although obviously training isn't as intense as playing in a competetive match he still had to be ready to play if called upon. The 3 week break is as much a mental refresh as it is a physical one.rags game in two weeks time, hope some more players are back to Manchester for bit of pre season while squad arrives back from US tour, no way we can field a team like this game.
Nunes hardly played at the Euros or all season, he should be back quick.
especially midfield area is missing.
He's as close to the "worst signing " as it gets.I'm guessing you never got to see Lee Bradbury or Buster Phillips or Pointy McMannaman or William Bony or the underwhelming sea of shit we have signed in history. Kalvin is nowhere near and I mean nowhere near one of our worst signings as a footballer.
He might be the poorest value from a monetary pov, however that is a different matter. It could be worse, we could have paid 85 million for Anthony. Lol.
Ah yes Nunes of the one goal in the last 2 years. He can stay away another while.rags game in two weeks time, hope some more players are back to Manchester for bit of pre season while squad arrives back from US tour, no way we can field a team like this game.
Nunes hardly played at the Euros or all season, he should be back quick.

You’ve got to look at the available players. They’re all kids so what do you expect?Disappointing to lose again.
Can't be too arsed about the results, they are what they are. Would prefer to win still.
One thing I'll point our as a negative was our defence was a bit of a shit show in both games. I know they're young lads and it's pre season but at least try to get the basics right. It's the minimum you would expect from academy players from top teams, especially when these are the moments where they get to make an impression. A few look a mile off from having a chance of breaking into the first team squad.
I know that sounds harsh but I just wanted to see a bit more quality from some of them now they're given chance, even if it is a pre season friendly.
There's definitely some quality there too though.
He could change his name to BAFTA.I reckon Oscar bobb and Rico Lewis could make the step this season, some more talent whose development been excellently managed by pep.
Only midwits and the willfully ignorant think pep isn’t good at managing young talent.
I do think Oscar should change his name though, it’s not really a star name, you know?
Ruben, too. You’ve got to look at the available players. They’re all kids so what do you expect?
It’s not the clubs fault that
Walker; Stones; Ake; Akanje; KDB; Bernardo; Rodri; Doku; Salvinho; Alvarez; Nunes; FODEN
are all recovering from international duties.
What a squad we have
there is that of course..Only thing is it’s against them bastards?
Case in point. Idiots. Not really sure why we bother with a pre season . It’s clearly not with the intention of winning over new fans in this huge emerging market..
Ederson,Gvardiol and HaalandBloody hell how many of those will start in the first match?
- Ederson(C) (Carson 78’)
- Susoho (Wilson-Esbrand 46’)
- Simpson Pusey (Katongo 46’)
- Doyle
- Lewis
- Perrone (Phillips 46’)
- O’Reilly (Wright 66’)
- McAtee (Fatah 66’)
- Bobb,
- Grealish (Gvardiol 78’)
- Haaland (Hamilton 46’)
It's a match thread, idiots are what match threads is.You’d have to be an idiot to take this or the Celtic game seriously and not see it for what it is. Getting a bit of match fitness, giving the youngsters a run out and earning a shitload for the coffers.
Nothing more nothing less.
True, but I thought even idiots might have realised that a bit of context needs to be added before they start whining that the sky is falling in on us.It's a match thread, idiots are what match threads is.
He was playing at Left Centre Mid. A bit like Gundo. What position was he playing?
When he first joined us and stayed around the first team, I thought he looked very good. But I recall that was more advanced midfield. At Las Palmas I believe he's been playing in Rodri's position.
