City v Arsenal friendly post match thread

Wow, a preseason, we lost, just one of those games where we didn't get a break! we were a bit unlucky with the chances, Arsenal connected with all theirs.
Lessons learned I'm sure!
This is the same team that wasted AC Milan in 30 mins and pushed B Munich all the way and were undone by a partizan ref!
don't throw the towel in yet people!
If we'd won at a canter or it'd been a dull draw, nothing would've been learnt, but Pellegrini will have learnt plenty from this game.
For me, we retreated to some of the play of last season, not quick enough passing forward to key areas often enough when the chance was there, too much square passing across the back,
I'm sure the boys will have bus parking exercises all next week, and with Aguero in the team we will have a different dimension and 1st team line up from today,

Not impressed at all with Fernadinho. Not impressed at all with Negredo, he reminds me of Grant Holt. Navas did fuck all. Jovetic just fouled people. Looks lik money well spent not.

Disturbed to see Kompany so poor, dreadful mistakes and bad postioning. Hart needs selling as he has gone backwards and cant stop a shot. Zabba was rubbish attacking and worse defending.

Arsenal basically playing with old players. We are still sorting out some new stuff. We may start slower this season but should be a lot better once Pelli and the team go full steam ahead

We cant afford a slow start and with the games we've got early on I think we should go bang bang and I'm sure we will
