Not in the slightest bit surprised by the result, but the second half performance was very poor, too slow, pass pass pass, we won't win the league, gifting points away like this.

They count as much as winning the first 5 last season and winning the last 5 in 2014/15.

Some people totally underestimating emotional and physical energy champions league takes out of the players. There was no fight today, plenty of effort but little fight compared to Barca - one sign we were emotionally spent.
We just need to be within 3-4 points off top of prem once group stages end, plus we're out of league cup which is looking a big bonus right now.
I still think when we're at it we're the best side but it's hard to play at that level every 3 or 4 days and things should get easier.
Having said all that defending in numbers and playing us on the break is far too easy. These home games are like watching re-runs. Gabriel could be huge in this respect.

I disagree completely.
We are one point worse off than we were after 11 games last year.
I know its not always useful to compare season to season but we still have the same frailties we had under MP but like you I think we will iron them out as we improve our squad and get better at matching the strengths of opposition teams.
Conceding poor goals and lack of clinical finishing is fairly entrenched in this squad.

They count as much as Arsenals, Liverpools and Chelsea's do mate.
If you want to claim how much they have improved then its only fair.
We have had an excellent start to the season given we have a new manager who took over a demotivated squad.
Could it have been better and should it have been? yes of course it should but it is what it is and all in all we are doing more than alright imo.
I will wager not one manager of those you have named will think we haven't improved, not one!
